Biochemical composition of the essential oil it is made up of a large number of molecules, 52 of which have been identified:  
• alcohols and aldehydes oxides of lilac A, B, C and D (2% and 2.7%)   
• methyl ethers phenols: iso-elemicin and elemicin (2%)   
• benzene and cinnamic derivatives: p-dimethoxybenzene (1.3%), benzyl benzoate, etc.   
• fatty hydrocarbons: heptacosane, octacosane, pentacosane, tetracosane, etc .; (1.3%, 4%, 2.3%, 2%)
